Avoid the trap of broken HTML tags with an HTML validator. You can try the professional version for 30 days. Quick and easy to use, this program will point out common errors like html tag nesting problems, unsupported syntax and badly formed tags.

If you like to use regular expressions and work in the Windows environment, you'll love Search and Replace. You can quickly update thousands of pages without ever opening your html editor. Funduc also publishes other utilities you may find useful.

Sometimes it's easier to work with a simple text editor than a full-featured html publishing tool. For quick text work, it's hard to beat TextPad. Color coding and regular expression support are part of this inexpensive, low-overhead program.
